Looking at the age of the first one, there probably weren't the poles installed when the hydrant had been installed.Great pics. Locations?.
Hi OG,Both are in NE Portland. I think the first is at 82nd and Prescott. The other is someplace on San Rafael.I think you're right that the first one was installed when things were different. Probably the slope was bare when the second one was installed.They both have me paying more attention to fire hydrants now. Heh.
