Meanwhile, automation is increasing, especially at food joints where tablets and kiosks are replacing people for ordering and paying. Rather than paying staff to do those tasks, it's less expensive to hire a trained IT person.<br /><br />$15/hr. minimum wage. Mandatory paid time off. "Flexible" scheduling.
