Interesting too, Max, is that my cousin told me the bowl is original. That's the large bowl! So, using it, she can't make multiple batches of cookies at a time. But, she loves using original things, so doesn't mind the extra mixing. And apparently neither does the mixer.
Yes, there's something neat about using equipment in its original or early state. We have some old cameras from the 1920's and 1930's. They don't work anymore (one of them has pin prick size holes in the bellows), but it's fun just handling them and thinking of my grandparents using them to take some of the pictures in their picture album.
