Ben Sasse

I not only like this man, I think he has more understanding in his little finger than the people in the highest offices have in their whole body. And when he talks, he explains so that people can understand.

He does seem pretty good, TD. Nebraskans seem to have elected themselves a pragmatic, down-to-earth Senator.

I think so too, Max. The more I hear from him the more I like him. He seems principled, balanced and has a good sense of humor. Not a prima donna or someone who can't get along with people. I heard a version of this speech on CSPAN Saturday night which Sasse gave to the Steamboat Institute. But, the only video I could find of it had audio out of sync with the video. So, I posted this one.

I was watching it with my dad, and he pointed out that Sasse was easy to understand. My dad is not philosophical but is very smart in practical concepts. So, I took that as a big compliment to Sasse.
