Last week, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), the lead Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, remarked in a statement that Obama’s “golf weekend at the yacht club with Tiger Woods cost taxpayers over a million dollars — enough money to save 341 federal workers from furlough."
Yes, He can't afford to pay Secret Service to ride herd over a bunch of sixth-graders on a tour of the White House because Sequester - but he can afford Secret Service to escort him on his golf outings.
But, as long as the press gives him cover and never asks about things like that, he can ignore and never respond. They didn't even ask him about why his administration suggested sequester and he signed the bill given his latest warnings.
It's the main reason why I do not cry any tears over the tanking of the print press and the slow downturn of television news. Their product has no value.

Exactly right, Max.

What sequester? DHS has $50 million to spend on new uniforms. And they've ordered 1.6 billion rounds of ammo - enough to fight a war for 20 years.
Max, if it weren't so laughably ridiculous, one would want to cry.
