Trump works by intimidation. His supporters, like Jeff Lord on CNN, claimed Trump was presidential and calm in his press conference last night. But, David Axelrod pointed out that Trump
threatened Speaker Paul Ryan.
I’m going to get along great with Congress, okay?
Paul Ryan, I don’t know him well. But, I’m sure I’m going to get along great with him.
And if I don’t he’s going to have to pay a big price, okay?

Not only that, but Trump also asked who a reporter was when the reporter asked the uncomfortable question based on
Paul Ryan's criticism of Trump's 'equivocating" about "hate groups": "Who are you, by the way? Who are you with?" Trump didn't ask that of any other reporter. It's like Trump is keeping score about who asks him uncomfortable questions. Trump did follow with: "Okay, very good. Good job." But, the irritation in his voice when asking the reporter's name and organization was clear.

Christie looks like the proverbial deer in the headlights.
I don't care much for Ryan, but it must be admitted that Trump comes across thusly:
"Nice little place ya got here; be a real shame if anything was to, you know, happen to it."
Yes, Christie looks silly. Like a gradeschooler trying to look pious in church. Trump did a lot better standing in the background after he endorsed Romney.

It's funny when pundits say Trump is appearing statesmanlike or presidential he always manages to fail. He just can't get away from threat/insult mode. It oozes out even when holding his breath.
Not the kind of person to control the IRS, FBI, EPA, etc.
